Level 1a
The Beginners courses are suitable for those with no prior knowledge of an Introduction to NZSL & Deaf Culture. NZSL level 1a introduces learners to New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL), the language of the Deaf community and one of the official languages in New Zealand. This course will focus on receptive skills and mastering basic communicative functions in NZSL.
Please note: Sometimes there may be a change in dates (e.g extra classes to make up for a public holiday or other cancellations due to the number of participants). 80% attendance is required for certification.
